“ Nice little fast Japanese place in Hartwell. We came to get a late lunch takeout for a crowd, and we were pleasantly surprised on the value for what we got, and the quantity. Definitely enough to share! The chicken and steak hibachi was juicy and not overcooked (shrimp sauce, yum!), and the sushi was tasty too. I wasn't planning on getting any sushi, but the sushi chef told us that it was buy one get one half off so we tried the Cali and Philly rolls, very good. Everyone enjoyed all of the food, and three entrees plus the sushi fed about 6 people. A nice little place to eat while visiting the lake. ”

“ The name fits perfect because this is a little place. Don't let the small dining area fool you about the food. The food is absolutely delicious! My favorite is the sushi. The sushi is always fresh and made to order. You can get any of the raw fish cooked if you choose for the sushi rolls. The onion soup is the best I have ever had. You might ask how can you mess up onion soup? I've been to enough Japanese restaurants to know when I taste some really good onion soup. There not all the same and this is the best I have ever tasted. They are open Tuesday - Sunday and closed on Monday. I wish they were open on Monday's but I know they gotta rest sometime. If you are ever in hartwell, ga then stop by little Japan and you will not be disappointed. ”
“ I have been here many many times, each time the food is consistently delicious. The sushi is very good, my favorite roll being the super crunchy roll. My favorite dinner is the teriyaki steak!! The meat is always tender and never overcooked, and the rice is so fluffy. It's really, really good. Ever since they opened this has been the only hibachi/sushi place I've been going to, because the food is higher quality. I always leave full and satisfied. The prices are great as well!! ”
